Furthermore, selected projects referring to the fields of casinos, office premises and public buildings reflect KAMPER’s many years of experience in project management. Our history

1964

Johann Kamper establishes a carpentry shop in the private home of the family.

The first staff member was employed and worked for KAMPER for 32 years until he retired in 1998.

Construction of carpentry facilities in Graz, Stiftingtal, with a production surface of 800 m².

At the age of 20, Mr Karl Kamper joins the family business as youngest Austrian master cabinetmaker.

The company already has 60 employees (24 of them apprentices) and focuses on orders from public authorities (e.g. schools, hospitals).

Tragic death of the company’s founder Johann Kamper in an accident at work. The two sons, Hans and Karl, together with their mother Gertrude take over the company.

Together with two other entrepreneurs, Karl Kamper is awarded the „Trio of the Year“-prize in the category „Crafts“ by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the Bank Austria UniCredit Group and the business journal Trend.
